While several factors go into emotional resilience and optimism, studies show that cultivating a sense of gratitude can help you maintain a more positive mood in daily life and contribute to greater emotional well-being and bring social benefits as well. Cultivating gratitude is one of the simpler routes to a greater sense of emotional well-being. Keep a gratitude journal and write down what you are grateful for everyday.

Vary Your Exercise

Mixing up your exercise routine will help you prevent boredom which will help you stick with your program. There are some physiological benefits as well as psychological benefits of having variety in your exercise program. When you do the same type of exercise exclusively, your body builds certain specific strengths. By switching your activity mode, you broaden your physical abilities. Doing a different activity stresses the body in a new and novel way. That's why, after trying a new physical movement, you sometimes feel sore in places where you had forgotten you had muscles. Research also shows that variety in exercise can help reduce dementia risk.

Beauty is more than what's on the outside. How good you look and feel stems from your inner health and vitality. Fortify your skin, hair and nails by eating healthy fats, eating foods packed with key nutrients like protein, and vitamins and minerals and drinking lots of water.
